"I was diagnosed with FAI (Femoral Acetabular Impingement) this is a disorder in my left hip that causes severe impingement and severe pain. I thought my only option was a surgical repair, so I started down the surgical path. Once the insurance company decided my injury wasn’t painful enough and 40% mobility wasn’t that bad, therefore, denying me surgery- I started looking elsewhere for relief. I am pretty open minded and willing to try anything once. I heard there were great benefits to yoga, but I had never been willing to actually try it. I had done “stretching” at home, but I just did not find any relief. I started going to Kacie, and honestly I was extremely skeptical at first, but after only a few sessions I started seeing huge gains.
