OFRA GRINFEDER
Born in Israel - Presently Lives in Brazil.Graduated from State University of New York in Buffalo.Worked for the New York State Narcotic Comission in Harlem, New York, collaborating with an art therapist.Worked as a “Program Director” for the American army in Seul, Korea.Specialized in Clay for ten years in Brazil. Had several individual shows as well as group shows in museums and galleries.Lived for three years in France, working in Clay in St. Germain- en- Laye. Exhibited in Sarver Gallery and the Museum of Cannes.Returned to Brazil. Had individual exhibitions at Gallery Nara Roesler, and together with Jaques Buchholz at the Modern Art Museum (MAM).In 1992 moved to Istambul, Turkey,started research in wood and paper sculptures. This resulted in an exhibit at Galleria Nev, Istanbul.Back in New York had a sculpture exhibit at 450 Broadway Gallery and a jewelry exhibit at Aaron Faber Galery.In 1996 returned to Brazil where had several individual shows. In 2013 dedicated her time to research on the Jewish population in Bom Retiro. This work resulted in an exhibition in the Museum of Energy in São Paulo.At the moment, the artist lives and works in São Paulo and continues to dedicate her work to images relating to Brazil.OFRA GRINFEDER
Nascida em Israel - Mora no momento em São Paulo - Brasil.Graduada pela Universidade Estadual de Nova York em Buffalo.Trabalhou para a Comissão Narcótica do Estado de Nova York em Harlem, Colaborando com uma arteterapeuta.Trabalhou como "Diretora do Programa" para o exército americano em Seul, Coréia.Especializada em Cerâmica há dez anos no Brasil. Teve várias exposições, mostras individuais, assim como shows de grupo em museus e galerias.Morou por três anos na França, trabalhando em Cerâmica em Saint-Germain-en-Laye. Exibiu na Galeria Sarver e no Museu de Cannes.Voltou para o Brasil. Teve exposições individuais na Galeria Nara Roesler e junto com Jaques Buchholz no Museu de Arte Moderna (MAM).Em 1992, modou- se para Istambul, na Turquia, iniciou a pesquisa em esculturas de madeira e papel. Isso resultou em uma exposição na Galleria Nev, em Istambul.De volta a Nova York realizou uma exposição de esculturas na 450 Broadway Gallery e uma exposição de jóias em Aaron Faber Galery.Em 1996 retornou ao Brasil com várias exposições individuais.Em 2013 dedicou seu tempo a fazer pesquisas sobre a população judaica no Bom Retiro. Este trabalho resultou em exposição no Museu da Energia em São Paulo.No momento, a artista vive e trabalha em São Paulo e continua dedicando seu trabalho a imagens relacionadas ao Brasil.ITANIRA HEINEBERG
Itanira Heineberg nasceu em Porto Alegre em outubro de 1945.Professora de línguas pela UFRGS, Porto Alegre, e com Diplôme Supérieur de Nancy, lecionou no Grupo Escolar Benjamin Constant, em Porto Alegre, na Berlitz School, New York, e na Escola Graduada de São Paulo, Graded School.Coordenou o Departamento de Língua Inglesa na Escola Cidade Jardim / Play Pen por 2 anos e aposentou-se.Trabalhou durante 9 anos como voluntária na Cáritas Santa Suzana, Morumbi ,São Paulo, com crianças e adolescentes. De 2010 a 2013 trabalhou junto à artista Ofra Grinfeder, escrevendo as histórias das pessoas por ela retratadas e apresentadas na exposição Bom Retiro, Relatos e Retratos, no Museu da Energia de São Paulo, Campos Elísios.Itanira mora em São Paulo com seu esposo João Ernesto. Seus hobbies são leitura, yoga, caminhadas, amigos, praia e colaboração semanal no Blog/Face Book Eshatanamidia.O casal tem três filhos, Marian Ruth no Amazonas, Daphne em são Paulo e Johny Hugo em Vitória.ITANIRA HEINEBERG
Itanira Heineberg was born in Porto Alegre in October 1945.Language teacher at UFRGS, Porto Alegre, and with Diplôme Supérieur de Nancy, she taught at the Benjamin Constant Elementary School, in Porto Alegre, at the Berlitz School, New York, and at the Graduate School of São Paulo, Graded School. Itanira coordinated the English Language Department at Escola Cidade Jardim / Play Pen for 2 years and retired. She worked for 9 years as a volunteer at Cáritas Santa Suzana, Morumbi, São Paulo, with children and adolescents.From 2010 to 2013 she worked with the artist Ofra Grinfeder, writing the stories of the people she portrayed and presented in the exhibition Bom Retiro, Relatos e Retratos, at the São Paulo Energy Museum, Campos Elísios. Itanira lives in São Paulo with her husband João Ernesto. Her hobbies are reading, yoga, hiking, friends, beach and weekly collaboration on Blog / Face Book Eshatanamidia.The couple has three children, Marian Ruth in Amazonas, Daphne in São Paulo and Johny Hugo in Vitória.
