Project Description

This project will help us have a deep understanding on types of Digital Media. There are different tools and platforms for creation which we will explore to help us come up with different types of digital media. People are able to be creative, share content and interact with each other internationally or locally.

This is a beautiful photograph I took in Kenya, it is known as Hell's Kitchen. It is a place characterized by sandstone and effect of rainfall which eroded and when you walk through, you will see small canyons colors vary during daytime. The place is referred to as Hell's Kitchen because of extreme heat inside the canyon during the day, almost like a scorching kitchen. The image was big in size, I had to resize it in JPEG format. Below is a sample of an audio file called Baby laughs. I chose this audio because it reminds me of how my baby laughs when she is happy and well fed. I had to download this file in audio, mps then uploaded it to my Google Drive so I could embed it on the website.

Video Sample

This is an example of an embedded video of nature. 

The video is about how a couple made a wild connection with cheetahs in South Africa. It shows how wild animals can be affectionate to human beings if they are treated in a lovely manner. I copied the link from youtube and embed it on the website. There was no useage policy of licensing information but I will provide the original source and follow TASL rule.

Lesson learned

This project has made me appreciate how it takes time to come up with information for a website. I have really learnt a lot, from embedding videos and exploring different apps on where audios can get downloaded. I was also happy to learn about Creative Common and how someone can get a license for their original work.
