The teacher must have a foundational understanding of each student's needs. This is important because many students may need accommodations or extra support to help them flourish. Throughout the time with the students, teachers will get to know them and build a rapport with them. It is important to consistently offer support, and remember what each relationship with each student is like. 

Setting Instructional Outcomes is not only giving instruction, but setting outcomes for what that instruction will result in. When students are reminded what their progress should look like, it gives them a clear goal. This will be important to remind me that students need reinforcement and to check for understanding during instructional demonstrations. 

It is important to design instruction that is well structured in logic and organization in order to achieve our learning goals. Coherent instruction connect previously learned topics to end goals. Keeping this in mind will strengthen the structure of the learning process and final goals.
