I was a part of the Engineering program at the James Forrest Career and Technology Center. This two-year program is designed and intended to provide a structural linkage between secondary and post secondary education while integrating academic and work based learning skills. As an experienced-based course, students are involved in problem solving activities both independently and as groups. Concepts of research and design, experimentation, construction and fabrication, systems analysis, optimization of resources, utilization of materials, interpersonal skill development, technological impacts and ethics are all studied throughout this program.
