In June of 2016 after many years, the FAA released Part 107 to the Federal Aviation Regulations, giving perspective Commercial sUAS Pilots a path to Remote Pilot Certification. The Part 107 outlines everything required in order to achieve and maintain certification, as well as the mandated operational rules.
The FAA Knowledge Exam will require that candidate commercial operators be familiar with all rules, regulations, and procedures outlined in the 107. This lesson will address specific doctrine of the 107 not covered in other lessons.
