Pronunciation of my name

From time to time, I find the difficulties for non-Chinese speakers to pronounce my given name. On the other hand, this spelling translation also doesn't reflect how it should be pronounced in Chinese. The closest way to pronounce it is 'Ru Fong' in the English spelling. In any case, I would be happy if one could pronounce something similar. 

Nationality

Yeah, right, this is a complicated issue. Although my mother tongue is Chinese, I am not from China. I am completely a Taiwanese. 

Taiwan is a small island beside China. We have our own government and democracy. Although our democracy is not yet mature, our rights to criticise politics are guaranteed by our constitution. Moreover, many people are working hard to make the political situation better and the democracy maturer.
