計量・数理政治研究会 (The Japanese Society for Quantitative Political Science, JSQPS, https://sites.google.com/view/jsqps/)の2023年夏季集会における報告者を以下の要領で募集しますので，どうぞ奮ってお申し込みください。日本語での報告を歓迎します。参加登録に関する案内は５月末にお知らせします。
* 2023年6月24日（土）、25日（日）（応募者数に応じて土曜のみ開催の場合あり）
* 福岡大学文系センター棟15階第6会議室（部屋変更の可能性あり）
* 対面開催のみ
* 収容定員規制の都合上、定員に達し次第、登録終了とさせていただく場合があります。
* マスク着用については、開催時の政府や開催大学の方針に従ってください。
* 広く計量・数理政治学について、主に英文ジャーナルに投稿することを目指している論文の報告を募集します。発表は日本語でも構いません。
* 1本の発表と発表間のインターバルを長めにとることで、フォーマル、インフォーマルな議論の充実を図ります。
* 報告に討論者はつけませんが、学生や若手研究者で希望する人には、担当メンターを事前に割り振り、発表後にメンターから詳しいコメントを貰えるようにします。
* この取り組みは、女性研究者の参加拡大の一環として試験的に行うものですので、女性の研究者に優先して割り振ります。
* 日本語・英語での報告が可能です。日本語での報告・討論を歓迎します。
* 福岡はアジア諸国とのアクセスも良いのでアジア各国の方の応募もお待ちしております。

* １人で複数の（共著）論文を応募することは可能ですが、報告は１人１回のみとします。
* 6月上旬にJSQPSウェブサイト上（https://sites.google.com/view/jsqps）でプログラムを公開します。
* 報告者は6月16日（金）までに、報告スライド（可能であれば論文も）をGoogleグループで共有してください。報告採択後に、アップロード方法等詳細を連絡します。
* 上記メンタリングを希望する人は、論文もアップロードしてください。

We are pleased to announce that the 2023 Summer Meeting of the Japanese Society for Quantitative Political Science (JSQPS) (https://sites.google.com/view/jsqps/) will be held on June 24-25. We invite oral presentations based on original research. Please find below detailed information about the meeting and proposal submission. Information on participant registration will be provided by the end of May.
Date: June 24-25 (Sat. & Sun.), 2023
Place: Fukuoka University, Humanities and Social Science Center, 15th floor. (https://www.google.com/maps/@33.5477702,130.3631287,18.3z)
* If there are not enough participants, the event may be held only on Saturday.
* In-person only
* Due to room capacity restrictions, registration may be closed when capacity is reached.
* Please follow the policy of the government and host university at the time of the event regarding the use of masks.
* We welcome research proposals which focus on empirical and positive research in political science to be submitted to international journals in English.
* We will allow more time for one presentation and longer intervals between presentations to facilitate formal and informal discussions.
* Although we do not assign a discussant to each presentation, interested students and young researchers will be assigned a mentor in advance so that they can receive detailed feedback from their mentor after their presentation
* Since this initiative is intended to increase the participation of female researchers, priority will be given to them.
* We welcome presentations and discussions in Japanese but speakers can choose to present and discuss in English.
* Fukuoka has good access to Asian countries, so we welcome applications from Asian countries.

* You may submit multiple proposals for co-authored works but may only make one presentation.

* Presentation slides and papers should be uploaded to Google Drive by June 16 (Fri.).
* Paper submission is not required but encouraged.
* For those who wish the feedback from a mentor, paper submission is required.
* After the notification of proposal acceptance, detailed information about uploading will be provided.
