๐ Ingredients ๐
๐ซ 50g peas
๐ง Half onion
๐ฅ 1 carrot
๐ฅ 1 solid-boiling potato
๐ง 1 clove of garlic
๐ถ๏ธ 1 red chili pepper
๐ฟ 4g coriander
๐ฅ 1 teaspoon cumin
๐ฅ 1 teaspoon garam masala
โจ A pinch of turmeric
๐ Instructions: Vegetarian filling
1๏ธโฃ Peel the potatoes and cut them into small cubes. Cut the carrot into cubes. Cook them together with the diced carrot al dente in lightly salted water.
2๏ธโฃChop the onion๐ง . Chop the chili pepper and coriander and press the garlic.
3๏ธโฃ Fry the onion, garlic and chilipepper for 1 minute in hot peanut oil. Add the cumin powder, garam masala and turmeric and stir-fry for another 1 minute. ๐ถโโ๏ธ๐จ
4๏ธโฃ Spoon the potato and carrot cubes and peas through the spice mixture and further season with the coriander๐ฟ, pepper and salt.
๐ Making the samosas
5๏ธโฃ Cut each sheet of filo pastry lengthwise into 3 narrow strips. โ๏ธ
6๏ธโฃ Coat each strip with melted butter. ๐งโจ
7๏ธโฃ Scoop a little of the filling into the corner of one strip. Fold closed to form a triangle, then fold around and around to maintain the triangle shape. Seal the edge with a little butter. ๐บ๐ง
8๏ธโฃ Repeat with the remaining sheets of dough. ๐๐
9๏ธโฃ Deep-fry the samosas in a deep fryer at 180ยฐC for about 5 minutes, until golden brown. ๐๐โจ
๐ Drain the fried samosas on kitchen paper and serve them warm with your favorite dipping sauce. ๐ฝ๏ธ๐งป๐
