Although we arrived at the hotel late, we got up at 06:00 and had a good breakfast. We set off at about 08:00.
We joined the Avenue Verte very quickly, which was extremely well signposted and completely on flat cycle paths.

The hard-to-miss château at Mesnières-en-Bray, right by our route.
We stopped at around 10:00 for a break at les Tables de la Gare, which translates to The train station tables, a creperie which was once a train station (and our cycle path now a disused railway).

Using my phrasebook, I was going to ask for the bill in french, but I accidentally asked for une bière. I realised my mistake when they brought me a beer and asked for l'addition, instead!
