Before the trip, I did many things to ensure that it all went well. These were things like:
Buying food that would give us energy and that we could eat quickly without too much equipment - for example pot noodles, cereal and fruit
Writing lists of things that I would pack
Booking nights
Choosing and planning the route that we would follow (The Avenue Verte)
Buying a French phrase book and the Avenue Verte route guidebook
Creating an Excel document to organise my ideas and plan the route
After the trip, dad and I organised all of the payments we had made that were linked to the trip. We could then work out how to evenly pay the costs.
