To summarise the whole trip, I would say that the route was well-signed and that the surfaces were mostly flat. Although it was very challenging, especially the hills on day 1, the trip has made me stronger not only physically, but also mentally. Another difficulty I experienced that made me more resilient was the extreme heat. When cycling, you are more vulnerable to the sun, and it was sometimes hard to find any shade along the path in heats up to 40C. We had to be careful with water at times when we were far from places where we could refill our bottles. We discovered that the French would kindly do so whenever we asked. It was great to explore French culture, as we went through many traditional villages and saw northern France's unique architecture. Arriving in front of the Eiffel Tower was a great achievement, and I hope to do something similar again in the future. Thanks to everyone who helped me with this project!
