Leica cameras and lenses from Germany are renowned for their high quality and Leica Camera AG has information about the latest products. In the days when film rather than digital cameras were used, my late Mother and I had Leica M-series rangefinder cameras and lenses.

Exif Viewer - access to EXIF data of any image/photos you see in Google Chrome
Google Earth - global coverage made from satellite images at varying resolutions.
The famous photo agency Magnum is online.
Getty Images has a very large collection online.
When last in New York I visited the International Center of Photography.
An exhibition of photographs by Lee Miller was shown in Wellington.
