This assignment has been the most challenging for me. One of the reasons why this was challenging was the time constrict on this assignment. I wished I had more time to explore the city and try different compositions in multiple places. Another reason is that my camera is not working properly as it cannot autofocus, so it is difficult to take some of the pictures I desire as they come out blurry. The last reason this was challenging was to look at the picture and see if the picture met the composition criteria.
The most challenging composition to take pictures of was the leading lines. I could find bars to direct something, but there was nothing to refer to. I was waiting for the perfect opportunity for an object to appear, but nothing came.
The most challenging composition to understand was isolation. I could not grasp the concept of making a subject isolated from the picture. My mind immediately runs to an image with an object and nothing else, which is not isolation.
The most straightforward composition to take pictures of was foreground & background because there is so much going on in every picture that I could get many subjects in one shot to give a dynamic story.
The most effortless composition to understand was to fill the frame. It was fun to get close to multiple subjects to fill my viewfinder.
