In a joint project with our preschool buddies, my 6th graders used Flipgrid.com to create preschool book reviews. The reviews were then shared with our local bookstore, Next Chapter Bookstore, to advertise the books that we reviewed. Also included here is the link from the bookstore. They shared the posters with the community using Facebook, which created an authentic audience for my students and their buddies.
This is a link to the 6th grade website I created to inform students and families about what is happening in sixth grade. It includes information about homework, each content class, and resources for students and parents. Each page describes the content class, and has resources when necessary. If you look at the math page it provides many resources for students and parents to access at home for learning and practice.
