This is one of the most difficult modes to play for hours on end.
And I'm not even overexaggerating; just try to play on Level M20 and tell me if you can get far into the mode. No? Good, because this is certainly very, very difficult to progress.
For those who don't know, Master Mode on Tetris Effect: Connected is a classic mode where you need to clear 300 lines to beat the mode. The thing is, the tetrominoes are already on the ground as soon as you start, so what gives?
Well, these master levels don't increase the speed at which the tetrominoes fall, but rather how long you have before the tetromino locks into place and how long before the next tetromino is in the field. The higher the master level, the less time you have before the piece locks into place and the next piece spawns. Simple as that, right? WRONG.
The elephant in the room is that the maximum master level, which is level M30, only gives you 92 milliseconds to move a piece before it locks into place, and the next piece immediately spawns as soon as the piece is placed, making it so if you're not even moving the tetrominoes, you can be topped out in less than a second! Woah.
This mode is so difficult that, from what I can see, only ONE person has managed to clear 3,044 lines in the endless version of the mode, but the sad thing is that it only has 420 views (as of the writing of this page) on the attempt, which is a shame!
Here's the video in question:
This is so underrated that I want it to reach a thousand views before the end of 2024, because this is so impressive by itself.
