This drill is a group drill designed to give players additional reps at blocking, tackling and running the football.
Check for proper technique by each player.
1 Football
8 Cones
2 stand up dummies
Divide players by size into 3 smaller groups with about 8 players per group.
Set up three stations as follows with cones to identify the run lanes at each station:
Coach signals the snap count and runner tries to run through the hole made by the two blockers. Stress that runner runs between the two blockers not outside them or out side the cones. Encourage the blockers to get in position to block the defender to the outside.
