What is Literature?

Literature is a reflection of life, capturing human emotions, struggles, and aspirations across time and cultures. It takes many forms—novels, poetry, plays, essays—all offering different ways to explore the complexities of existence. Literature is essential in understanding human experiences and developing intellectual curiosity.

To me, literature feels like an open-world game. Every book is a new realm to explore, filled with characters, conflicts, and resolutions. Just like in a game, literature allows us to interact with new ideas and perspectives. Whether it’s the haunting dystopia of George Orwell’s 1984 or the allegorical novel of William Golding’s The Lord of the Flies, each literary work offers a unique world to navigate and learn from.
