Call for Poster Presentations
We warmly invite submissions for poster presentations at the 66th JASEA Annual Conference, co-hosted with BELMAS.
I. Eligibility
Members of BELMAS
Payment of the 66th JASEA Annual Conference Participation Fee (5,000 yen) must be completed by the deadline via credit card.

Abstracts will not be subject to peer review. Once the application is submitted, the presentation is considered accepted automatically.
If you wish to withdraw your presentation, please contact the Conference Organising Committee no later than Thursday, 4 June 2026.
Withdrawal from conference participation must be completed individually through Peatix.

II. Conference Schedule

1 December (Mon): Applications open for poster presentations / registration for the conference and reception (payment system opens)
March
20 March (Fri), 17:00 — Deadline for poster applications
Participation and reception fees should also be settled by this date.

c.20 April (Mon): Programme released
May
19 May (Tue) — Final deadline for payment of participation and reception fees
22 May (Fri) — Deadline for abstract submission
c. 29 May (Fri): Abstract booklet issued
June
10 June (Wed), 17:00 — Deadline for uploading presentation materials
11 June (Thu): Presentation materials made available online (open until 19 June)
12–14 June (Fri–Sun): Conference held
III. Poster Presentation Guidelines (As reproduced from the Conference Programme)
1. Content and Format
Poster presentations are intended to facilitate academic dialogue and international exchange, and may be delivered in either Japanese or English.
It is recommended that posters be no larger than A0 size (portrait orientation, up to 788 × 1091 mm). Posters should contain:
Title of research
Name(s) and affiliation(s)
Research objectives
Methodology
Main content
Discussion and key findings
Where relevant, the research question may be indicated separately from the objectives.
Independent researchers and BELMAS members may each present one poster.
The title submitted at the time of application will appear in the programme.
Revisions to the abstract (maximum 300 words) will not be reflected in the printed version.
Printing, transport, display, and removal of posters are the full responsibility of presenters.
2. Presentation Schedule
Poster Display: Saturday 13 June, 09:00–17:00 (Please place your poster in the assigned space.)
Core Presentation Times:
12:00–12:45 (lunch break)
14:15–14:40 (symposium interval)
Presenters are expected to remain at their posters during core times.
Outside these periods, presenters may be in the coffee area, but are requested to return when visitors are present. If temporarily away, please leave a note indicating your return time.
3. Submission of Materials
Alongside the printed A0 poster, presenters may upload a PDF version (A4 recommended) to the online conference folder.
Submission deadline: Wednesday 10 June, 17:00
Uploaded files will be accessible to JASEA and BELMAS participants from 11 June until three days after the conference concludes.
4. Withdrawal of Posters
If you need to withdraw your presentation, please inform the Organising Committee in advance at:
