This artifact of a weekly collaboration chart aligns with the standard 8G. "understands the various models of co-teaching and the procedures for implementing them across the curriculum." As a team, we would meet and discuss the standard we are focusing on and then create a rough draft lesson plan based on that. This is a shared document between the team that is accessed and edited by anyone throughout the week. I learned that I love this method of lesson planning outline. It was a great collaborative tool for the team to meet about to and discuss upcoming lessons.
This artifact supports collaboration that supports standard 8B. Co-teachers and classroom teachers collaborate to create a daily schedule that is visible to all students as they enter the room. Teachers must collaborate to ensure that the time in the classroom is being used effectively and co-teachers can provide supports for students when needed before hand. I learned that students enjoyed having an agenda posted on the board when they entered the room. It is a great tool for students who need that time to accumulate materials and get ready for the class.
