James Haidak believes in the incredible benefits of travel. Being an avid traveler himself, he encourages people to go on trips to places they’ve never been to before and explore the bigger world out there. That said, James also mentions that traveling, though fun and transcendental, has its own dangers.
On that note, he shares some invaluable backpacking tips for backpackers everywhere.
1. When looking for accommodations, travelers should research on the place itself and find out if it is secure. Having private lockers is a huge plus especially if travelers will be sharing rooms with other transients.
2. Having a small lock for the backpack zipper is also a must. Backpackers are almost always on the move, and many times, bags get passed from person to person – in airports, terminals, and other places where travelers get on transport and disembark. James Haidak recommends combination locks to do away with the risk of losing keys.
3. Travelers should also leave expensive jewelry behind. Seasoned travelers know that most pricey accessories have a little-to-no place on a trip. In many countries, foreigners are targets for thieves.
4. And staying on the topic of things that should be left behind, James Haidak urges people to avoid putting all the important things in one bag. If a traveler loses said bag, it could lead to an abrupt end of the adventure.
James Haidak began producing electronic music at the age of 23, at which time he relocated to Amsterdam and fell in love with techno. The DJ and producer soon managed to create his own deep and driving signature sound. Visit this blog for more on James and his interests.
