Skallagrim was the son of a blacksmith in the 600s. A frail and sickly youth he was cast out of his fathers house when he was 13. That same night he found himself attacked by monstrous wolves in the forest. He prayed to Odin that if he hadn’t fought well enough for vahalla that he’d be spared so he could prove himself. The norns believed him lacking in any potential as a warrior and as a joke amongst themselves cursed him with immortality. Skallagrim wandered scandanavia training with sword and shield. Eventually he became the keeper of a sword named Vilja witch has the power to boast the users will power or zap the will power of those with weak will. 

Skallagrim eventually sought out and trained with a pack of Ulfhednar. Threw this training he gained a pelt witch allows him to take wold form or a werewolf form.

For Lokis: in the stories I’ve written Loki has tried to trick Skallagrim out of Vilja several times because the weapon would be immensly powerful in a gods hands. This is optional if you don’t want them to have history im ok with that.

Powers:

Immortality: Skallagrim cannot die and when uncontious heals at an accelerated rate. The longer hes uncontious the faster he heals.

Vilja: when fatigued by battle Skallagrim can use Vilja for a boast of will power givong him effectivly a second wind. The sword also allows him to sway those who are weak willed to stop fighting him. (This second ability will only be used successfully if i talk to you about it first.)

Wolf pelt: when using the wolf pelt Skallagrim can shift between human, werewolf, and full wolf forms. Wolf form gives him the same abilities as any normal wolf however his werewolf form grants him exta speed and streagth beyond that of any human. In this form he is also invulnerable to bullets and blade weapons made of iron or steel. 

Verses:

New York (or LA) college Verse: (post modern verse)

Skallagrim has lost his farm…. well he was swindled out of his farm by big corporations with fancy lawyers. The fact that Skallagrim couldn’t read the contracts well enough to understand them when he signed didn’t seem to matter to the judge and he lost the farm He decided it was time for a fresh start. He moved to New York city being glad he’d managed to save up plenty money over the years. He bought an apt over looking central park and paid a fortune for licences to keep his dogs. After everything with the farm he decided that he wasn’t going to let fancy lawyers swindle him ever again and applied to law school… but with a writing level of 6th grade, reading of 8th and only basic math skills he was nearly laughed out of  the office. A nice student intern there managed to keep him from destroying the place though he did wind up paying to patch up the wall he punch. he helped him get into a community college and set up his vet status so he could get it paid for as well. Eventually he even got him to go to a PTSD support group.

Frozen verse: Skallagrim, in a quest to find Odin, who he believes is responsible for the curse Skallagrim set sail for Vineland (America) and along the way crashed in the north most part of the pacific becoming frozen where he remained until present day. 

Modern verse: Skallagrim continued training and fighting becoming proficient with many weapons. He owns a farm and believes modern battles hold no glory.

Skallagrim shares his farm with a pack of wolf-dog hybrids all of witch are highly trained. He has an ex-finance who lives in the nearby town. Her name is Jane and she runs a dojo there. 

Skallagrim suffers from PTSD witch he started developing during the civil war. Because of this he is prone to nightmares has anger issues and a short fuse and at times seems to be always looking for a fight even if he claims he just wants a quiet life. He is also prone to self destructive behaviors such as lying skipping eating and being reckless.

Dealing with Skallagrims anger and his refusal to seek therapy were Janes main reasons for leaving.

High school verse: When Skallagrim was cursed he was completely frozen in age at 15. Now being obviously still a teenager he’s been put into the foster care system and sent to highschool.
