We had a lot of folks down for the count this week so we didn't get as much done as I anticipated.

I got a solid sound controller in place now, so implementing sound effects/music tracks should be a breeze going forward.
I really didn't make as much progress in terms of functionality as I would've liked this week, but I'll be certain to pick up the slack next week.

Two weeks worth of work over the holiday weekend.

I got a lot (in terms of quantity) done, but there are still some art stuff that needs to be created to really sell the environment, theme, and feel of the game. All in all, the art is coming along well and it's up to whether the gameplay as of now can help support and sell the artistry of the game or if we need to focus more on the game feel and implementation side of things.
I did not get any results done for the week at all until just last night into today. Homework from other classes has been killing me slowly and I am currently pulling two all-nighters in a row to garner results for our game. There's also communication issues with James in regards to Hatto's animations as he has not been communicating back recently. I have been seeing new animations for Hatto pop up blindly, and as a result, there is no time to change, revise, or edit anything.
My plan is to finish up any remaining filler assets that need to be created along with the rest of the art team (mainly Mia and Tyler), finalize the art asset unification, and become fully invested into making the Unity project and game organized and as easy as it can be for anyone on the team to pop in and out of the project without fear of the game producing unexpected results. If there are any more designs or art that need to be created in the future, I will also be handling that as well, whether I personally do it or if someone else will.

I really didn't make as much progress as I wanted because of sickness but hopefully over memorial day weekend I'll get caught up and then some extra hopefully. Don't like the unification of the assets Lange did.
Finish up the scolding animation and fill in between the key frames. Do the scared animation.

I got quite a bit done this week. After going through and drafting a series of faces I decided on one to go with and got the scaring face done. Hatto's face feels like a more playful version of a Boo (from mario) and I am happy with the effect that is achieved in the animation. It will need some slight cleanup because there is always room to be improved upon. In other news I made an interact animation, I updated the idle animation, and the blown away animation now has more oomph to the hat.
I didn't quite get absolutely everything done this week. The idle animation might need to be lengthened a tad and I didn't quite get to touch movement just quite yet (though I am not sure a movement state has been implemented). I think blown away might need one more frame to transition from idle to blown away. Also Nazifa requested a sleeping Hatto and I didn't get the chance to start on that, though I think that will be backlogged for now.
I definitely need to finish the scared animation for Hatto next week. Polishing the existing animations will be an important task adding frames here and there, and probably smoothing out lines that I missed. I hopefully will get to Nazifa's sleeping Hatto because it seems like a fun little project to do.

I got our main menu to not look too bad. I was assigned UI functionality this week and did that, but it turned out that we don't really need that much UI so I didn't get too much done collectively.
I had a hard time staying awake this week and it shows in what I was able to get done compared to the last few weeks. I wasn't really capable of pumping out all the assets I wanted to but I'll have the time this coming week to finish everything I need.
Final assets for level 1. Probably making a settings menu because we have the button.
