Welcome to Integrated Urban Flood Management in India Portal

Integrated Urban Flood Management (IUFM) in India – Technology Driven Solutions, is a novel partnership involving academic, governmental, and private sectors. In this endeavour, researchers from India and the United States work with both local and national governments, and disaster mitigation groups focussing on research, development, implementation, and educational component of the project.

ITRA (Information Technology Research Academy) has funded this project. The current project responds to the ITRA Water priority for integration of sensor technology for water related solutions.

Integrated Urban Flood Management in India has been awarded, the Outstanding Project for the year 2015.
