Goals
In the next few months. I would like to continue my mentoring assignments and offer more support to colleagues who would like to implement engaging technology strategies in their learning environment. I plan to continue supporting the instructional coaching team at my school and offer more professional development opportunities and ideas. I believe these goals will support my growth as a technology coach and allow me to further develop my skills as an educator who uses technology to bring equitable learning to students. I also will benefit from the collaboration with colleagues as we learn and grow together.
Another goal for the immediate is to start connecting with professional technology education groups on Twitter and in collaborative learning sessions at conferences to continue to develop my network of education technology leaders to ensure I stay up to date on techniques, research, and best practices.
Future Plans
Obtaining a Master’s in Educational Technology from California State Fullerton has fulfilled a dream for me. It has been an amazing experience that has helped me develop and is leading me closer to the dream of becoming a leader in creating equitable educational opportunities for students.
Equity in education is at the forefront of our ever-changing school environments. I am passionate about bringing learning to life and helping all students see themselves as capable learners who can achieve and own their learning and master their life goals.
I will seek opportunities in leadership that allow me to share the knowledge I am honing with other educators and stakeholders as an instructional leader. I hope to find myself in a coaching capacity and in leadership helping to move education towards equitable learning environments for all learners.
Finally, I would like to have an opportunity to join with education organizations that are leading the way in the creation of a more equitable future through policy in education and society. I dream of a time when education is compassionate, diverse, supportive, and adaptive to our learners ensuring all students have the opportunities they deserve to achieve their dreams.
