In order for a course to meet QM expectations and become QM certified, it must receive a "Met" designation for all of the essential standards, all of the alignment standards, and also receive an overall score of 85% or above based on the full 42 specific review standards.
As reviewers are reviewing a course, they look at each standards individually, with the exception of the alignment standards. Those, as defined, must align and be reviewed in succession. Since the alignment standards and essential standards are all 3-point standards, the easiest way to look at the score is that a course must meet all 3-point standards and receive an overall score of 85% or above to become QM certified.
