अनेजदेकं मनसो जवीयो

नैनद्देवा आप्नुवन्पूर्वमर्षत् ।

तद्धावतोऽन्यानत्येति

तिष्ठत्तस्मिन्नपो मातरिश्वा दधाति ॥ ४॥

अन्वयः-

अनेजत् एकम् मनसो जवीयः एनत् देवाः न आप्नुवन् तत् पूर्वम् अर्षत् तत् तिष्ठत् धावतः अन्यान् अत्येति तस्मिन् मातरिश्वा अपः दधाति ॥

अनुवादः-

It is motionless, one, and more rapid than the mind. It has gone first (forward). The gods (senses) could not attain it. It transcends all the dynamic even though it is still. In its being the wind divides the actions of the living beings.
