International Workshop in AIST: Ferroelectric QCP, Superconductivity, and Mott Transition

We have a series of two international workshops at the end of October. The first one is entitled

"International workshop in AIST: ferroelectric QCP, superconductivity, and Mott transition"

We have organised an international workshop on 30th Oct in AIST. The main theme is the "ferroelectric quantum critical point." Do you think whether ferroelectricity can coexist with superconductivity? Is quantum fluctuation also significant in the vicinity of the ferroelectric transition point at zero temperature? Does it enhance or depress the superconductivity?

We have invited some of the front-runners in this topic. We hope you can join our discussion. No need to do cosplay, though we have a function in the Hallowe'en eve.

Registration is free. But please let me know by 15th Oct, if you attend the banquet (2000Yen per person.)

強誘電QCPをテーマにしたワークショップを企画しました。10月30日に産総研で行います。強誘電の量子ゆらぎというものがあるのか。あるとしたらそれが超伝導を増強するのか。そもそも強誘電と超伝導は共存するのか？といった疑問をお持ちの方、ぜひご来場ください。ハロウィーンのイブですが、仮装しなくても入れます。登録は不要ですが、バンケット(2000円)に参加される方は10月15日までに必ずご連絡ください。
