The Global Development Institute at the University of Manchester offers a Ph.D. in Development Policy & Management that is divided into different research groups: 

• Development economics, growth, and distribution

• Urban development

• Digital development

• Politics, governance, and management

• Trade, labour, and global production networks

•  Migration, refugees, and asylum

• Natural resources, environment, and development 

I am part of the research group in Development Economics.

Most of my colleagues come from developing countries, which has allowed me to learn traditions from their cultures and forge friendships with people from all over the world!
