At IronSide Homestead, we raise a commercial flock of Hampshire/Shropshire crosses, carefully selected for their meat quality, strong structure, and calm temperament. These two heritage breeds are known for producing fast-growing, muscular lambs with excellent carcass yield and flavor.
Our sheep are pasture-raised and rotationally grazed to ensure they have constant access to fresh forage. From birth, our lambs are handled regularly and socialized to be calm and manageable, making them easier to care for and less stressed overall.
We believe in raising livestock ethically and naturally, with:

Minimal grain supplementation
Close attention to health and nutrition
