L'Arche Picnic

Outing Description:

This outing was just for L'Arche Portland participants. L'Arche is a worldwide organization that provides live-in community and care for individuals diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDDs). This outing was a relaxed dinner picnic followed by slow-paced beginner birding around the pond. We walked along the boardwalks and enjoyed the Mallard Ducks and Green Herons alike. I brought many pairs of binoculars, large bird flashcards, and the spotting scope to share!
