Drag Me Outside Birding!

Program Description:

Join our favorite local drag artists, Efemmera Gendera and Thespis D. Light, on a wonderfully joyful meander through Smith & Bybee Wetlands! 

Expect raunchy puns, an incredible array of very specific bird facts, and an inclusive community culture. First-time birders and seasoned birders are welcomed alike, no experience needed. We encourage folks to participate as your authentic selves and to dress however you choose to express yourselves. The egrets will surely be thrilled to see you drag (or walk or roll) yourself outside!

This event was especially reserved for folks who identify as gender-nonconforming, having disabilities, neurodivergence, and/or chronic illnesses. We believe in providing information and tools to empower our community members with diverse access considerations to feel belonging in the natural world.
