Birding with The Arc

Program Description:

Join Iris in a lighthearted and relaxed nature outing for people with all levels of birding experience! We will start with introductions and then plan to stroll through the beautiful Smith & Bybee Wetlands while looking at the birds, critters, and plants around us. After our nature walk, we will talk about what we saw and have an optional picnic lunch at the picnic tables. This outing will be adapted to the groups’ interests and access considerations, please come as you are.

This event is open to everyone and especially focused on/for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDDs), as well as their families, friends, and care partners. Care partners are not included in the event capacity and do not need to formally sign up.
