Ipswich Romanian Community (IRC) is a volunteer-based community organisation that promotes Romanian culture, values, traditions, and community inclusion in Suffolk, UK. We aim to support Romanian speakers and help them feel that they belong, no matter their background.
No, joining as a member is completely free. Membership gives you access to exclusive updates, community meetings, and participation in various cultural and creative events.
At Ipswich Romanian Community, we organise a wide range of cultural and educational activities designed to support Romanian speakers and the wider community. Our main activities include:
Art and creative workshops for all ages
English language courses (Basic, Intermediate, and Conversational), delivered by native teachers and trained volunteers

While our focus is on Romanian speakers, we promote inclusion and intercultural exchange. Many of our activities and materials are bilingual (Romanian and English), and everyone is welcome.
