QR1 is focused on orbital design and heavily relies upon STK.  Familiarity with the Orbital Parameters is recommended to achieve the best results.  The QR1 section is organised into Series.  Each series has 2 recommended lessons (one on STK and one on Spreadsheets) and offers 3 scenarios based around those lessons.  The series are designed to be 'building block' and assume a student is familiar with the previous series skills.  Therefore, it is advised to begin with A Series and progress onward.  

THIS page features a series of video lessons that introduce the most common key concepts and challenges that appear in Competition Round 2.  The videos include lessons describing why these challenges matter, the numbers/information you need to find to solve the challenge, and examples on some basic calculations.
