The point I'm trying to make is that
sometimes I hear students say they need more vocabulary, when what they really need is to just use the vocabulary they already know in different ways. Many English words don't have "signs" for them, and we just have to determine the meaning and then use the signs we have to expand on and explain the meaning to our audience. If you want more vocabulary so that you can provide a more word for word Interpretation. Then you don't need more vocabulary.
