According to Todd Matthew, director of communications for the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NAMUS), most missing cases get resolved. Will these cases get solved? As the years drag on and nothing turns up, some of them will become cold. One in five cold cases is solved. So maybe at least one of these people's case will never be solved or perhaps be solved decades later. For now some of these people leave a mystery with only a hope that they'll return.
