Genially is an app that provides tools and strategies for teachers to create visually appealing presentations, interactive images, and more. I am new to using Genially and practiced making this interactive image. I am interested in using more features in Genially and using their pre-created templates as a guide.
Book Creator is an app that can be used for creating digital books or pages to contribute to shared books. I enjoyed learning how to use Book Creator's features and tools and was able to see examples of what others can create with them. Book Creator makes it easy for students to add animation, multimedia functions, and their own unique style to their work
Technological Knowledge represents the apps and technology tools that I have learned in this course. In the past few years, I was excited to learn how to integrate technology into my classroom. I learned how to use and apply EdTech tools from YouTube Videos, used Google Classroom extensively, and introduced more EdTech apps to my students. With more schools following hybrid models and online platforms, I knew that I was on the right track to learning 21st teacher skills with EdTech, Google's workspace, and other technology tools as this is the future of where teaching and education are heading.
In this 21st Century course, I enjoyed learning how to use more technology apps and how to use additional features with the ones that I am already familiar with. Technology apps and tools can enhance and support students' learning by providing supportive resources. These tools include:
Mote for adding voice notes to Google Classroom assignments and other materials
Padlet for creating interactive bulletin boards and choice boards
Annotate.Net for providing interactive notes on Google Slides
Poll Everywhere for creating engaging questions for the classroom or online
Kami for creating PDFs and other worksheets that can be annotated, edited, or include audio and multimedia components.
