Origin. Halloween goes back to Celtic times. They built bonfires to keep away evil spirits and bring comfort to soul to purgatory. The Romans turned the night of 31st October into Halloween.

Halloween as we know it today is celebrated by many people specially in USA and Britain and also it is celebrated in a number of countries around the world. Traditions include costume parties, "trick or treat", pranks and games.
