This class requires the use of breakout rooms to discuss topics in small groups. This means you must use the Zoom desktop or mobile client. The browser platform will NOT work with this. See: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/115005769646-Participating-in-Breakout-Rooms?mobile_site=true

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/13bzsi_YeH77yoAQduhQdDXx9qQPmb84y_qaGOX80q_I/edit?usp=sharing
What's next:
Do not post any more articles/ items to our Google Sheet, but do take notice of what others are consuming to see if there is anything you'd like to use yourself. If each of you found a particular item of excellence and interest to everyone in the class, please add it to the blog. Do not add your ten items to the blog.
Now, by next workshop, try to have at least 30 items consumed across your reading plan. Have this done by workshop 4.
Please follow instructions on WordPress "How to add post" when creating a new blog post.
ActA discussion about collaboration and co-teaching. What Loertscher found. Why is it so difficult for many and why is it so central to the role of a teacher librarian in K-12, in Academia, and for public librarians working with home schoolers or collaborating with schools in their area?

For fun, see this KBC in Spanish: CNN
What's next on your plate:
Complete your reading plan if you have not already done so.
Do not add any more items to the Google sheet where we shared the ten items.
Pace yourself on project one reading, viewing, and listening. A couple of items a day with each citation and a very brief description will put you in good stead to complete this major assignment. It will take us a month to get it all done.
Follow Gabrielle's directions-to get on to the Wordpress Blog. There you will find many great items for Project one. And, if you run on to a major item that would benefit the group, please add it to the blog.
Do your quick write about Models of Inquiry and submit it to Canvas asap. Check out the assignment page for the directions.

Work with your partner on Project two and have a rough draft reading for sharing with the class next workshop. Do not submit your rough draft to Canvas. It is very important to get ideas during the next workshop; make changes; and then submit it later.
Do not hesitate to email or call Dr. L with questions and guidance. We can do a help session for you partners on project two if you would like. My phone number is 801.755.1122
Cardinal rule when working with your partner on project two: Respond to emails and questions every day and even several times a day. We have international students on very different time zones, so learn how and when to communicate.
