As an online teaching service platform, we have strict compliance to be responsible for our clients. Please show respect for your student's culture by keeping in mind the following Zero Tolerance Policy, and avoid offensive language or sensitive topics.

Topics to be avoided:

1. The 3 T's [Taiwan, Tibet, and Tiananmen]

2. Disputed Islands

3. Diaoyu Island

4. Administrative Regions: Hong Kong and Macau

5. Political Institutions/Systems

6. One Party/Multi Party Rule

7. Freedom of Religious Belief

8. Illegal Organization

9. Adult Materials/Explicit Content (porn, sex, and mature content)

10. COVID-19 (referring to it as Chinese virus, Wuhan virus etc.)

11. Sexual and Gender preferences, orientation, and identities.

12. Supernatural or topics related to ghosts, monsters, vampires, axes, guns

13. Terrorism or weapons

Prohibition of improper and unprofessional conduct:

1. Exchanging personal contact information with clients

2. Engaging in any form of sexual harassment, violence, or threat

3. Engaging a third party to teach a class through the 51Talk Platform

4. Other unprofessional conduct, which seriously conflicts with industry, such as but not limited to smoking\eating\yawning\sleeping during lesson time.
