Welcome to FALCON Association: Empowering Agriculture, Nurturing Communities

Nestled in Bois Pignolet, Terre-Rouge, the Farmers in Agriculture, Livestock, Cooperative, Organic Network (FALCON) Association is a non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting organic farming, environmental conservation, poverty alleviation, and social entrepreneurship.

Founded in 2004 and registered as an NGO, FALCON Association boasts a membership of approximately 175 individuals, including around a hundred young people. Our vision is to support farmers and their organizations in various facets of agriculture, including production, marketing, advocacy, innovation, technology, and capacity building, both nationally and internationally.

At FALCON Association, our mission is twofold: to promote organic agriculture and to protect the environment. In Bois Pignolet, Terre Rouge, we offer comprehensive training programs lasting two and a half months to individuals registered with the Social Register of Mauritius. Currently, over 70 participants are immersing themselves in the agricultural profession, learning essential techniques such as setting up a vegetable garden or rooftop garden and utilizing compost for fertilization.

In addition to our training programs, FALCON Association actively engages in community outreach initiatives, collaborating with local farmers and stakeholders to implement sustainable agricultural practices and environmental conservation projects. Together, we strive to create a greener, healthier future for generations to come.
