Programme participants will develop a Data Management Plan (DMP), based on their study design, using the provided DMP template.
Increasingly, DMPs are becoming a requirement for grant proposals; there are often mandates that require provision of information about sharing data and publications from funding agencies. A DMP will also help you to keep track of the data you are collecting, for use in the future or other projects.
Before developing a data management plan, you need to first begin by identifying why you are collecting the data – what do you want to know, or, for which questions are you seeking answers? Fortunately, you addressed these research questions when designing your study.
