Dr. Thomas Hervé Mboa Nkoudou (he/him)

Thomas is a Cameroonian scientist with a PhD in Public Communication from Laval University in Canada. He focuses on decolonial studies and critical approaches to development; his research interest include include digital humanities, the 4th industrial revolution, digital technologies and artificial intelligence for the common good. 

Thomas teaches Introduction aux méthodes d’enquête en Sciences Sociales at the University of Yaoundé in Cameroon, which provides a theoretical and practical approach to both qualitative and quantitative research. The slides from his research workshop, “Key aspects in research methodology for social inquiry: Learnings from my experience as researcher,” during which he provided an overview of research design and methodologies, are available here and in the Output 1: Study Design section of this website.
