Research Design

RESEARCH DESIGN addresses the overall structure of your research, focusing on what type of study is planned and what kind of results are expected from the study. The design will be based on the research question or problem that you identify with your mentor. 

During his Research Methods Workshop in June, Dr. Thomas Hervé Mboa Nkoudou provided an overview of research design strengths and weaknesses. Which do you think might be the most applicable for your specific context?

Once you have selected the appropriate study, you can decide which research methods may work best for your purposes. Collecting data while doing the work is very challenging - select what it realistic and manageable!
