The objectives of the Illinois Section of the American Association of Physics Teachers are the advancement of the teaching of physics and the furtherance of appreciation of the role of physics in our culture.

The Spring 2026 meeting will be held at Harper College in Palatine, IL. It will be a joint meeting with the Chicago Section.
