The most difficult aspect of implementing DBI in the context of Intensifying Literacy Instruction is often formulating instructional adjustments. Many teams report that they can identify when changes are needed, but they struggle to develop appropriate modifications. When data indicate that changes are needed. Teams should collect additional diagnostic data, identify a dimension of intensity to target, and make a plan to intensify that dimension.
