GRC Multiscale plant vascular biology conference and research seminars just happened (from 8th to 14th) of June at the University of Southern Maine, ME, US. I had the opportunity to posters with results from my postdoc at UC Berkeley. One about the rules linking leaf venation network architecture and function, and the other about xylem resistance to collapse. I was pleased to meet great scientists, such as C. Grossiord, Bill Anderegg, Scott Saleska, etc, and also get to know some wonderful Brazilian scientists. 

ESA 2023 conference happened from 3rd to 7th of July at the Darwin Exhibition Centre in Darwin city, NT, Australia. It was an excellent opportunity to showcase my postdoc research about the rules linking leaf venation network architecture and function and to network with Australian plant scientists. My little daugther Dinizia had a lot of fun meeting new people and discovering the Darwin waterfront.

 A hands-on course to learn the knowledge, skills and ability to make sound decisions in emergency situations in remote areas.
