Alan Moore was born in Northampton, England. He grew up reading classic books and children's stories. He got good marks in elementary school but in secondary school his results got worse. And here start to define his mentality. A grotesque and anarchist mentality.
Moore entry to the editorial industry in the 70´s in smallest and independent editorials, worked for stories like Doctor How. He started with the superhero when he resurrected the British “Miracleman” and make a new story for him.
The next project was “V from Vendetta “and create a polemic history of a terrorist in a totalitarian Britain. In 1983 he was hired for DC´comis to write “The Swamp Thing” a monster’s comic that Moore transform to a reflection about the existence. This success inspired to make their definite book “Watchmen” a story with reflexion and important message that redesign the gender of superheroes.
After this Moore continuous work with stories like “From Hell” or “The league of the extraordinary gentlemen”. This story they were taken to the cinema, and Moore continue hating the movies. In 2016 he announced that he retired about the comics world.
