From BBI Airport enrooting Bhubaneswar Railway Station:

The bus will leave Airport at 10 AM, 01 PM, 04 PM, 08 PM, and 10 PM and from Bhubaneswar Railway station (Master Canteen Sqare) at 10:30 AM, 1:30 PM, 04:30 PM, 08:30 PM and 10:30 PM, respectively.

The Bhubaneswar campus of CUTM is in Jatni at about 4 Km from Khurda Road Jn. Jatni is a small town and a suburban area of Bhubaneswar (Odisha). The Khurda Road Railway station connects Kolkata and Chennai, with a diversion to the pilgrimage city of Puri. Most of the population in this area is Odia, followed by a sizable Telugu-speaking community beside Malayali, Bengali, and Gujarati. This small town has emerged as a commercial and academic hub with various educational institutions like NISER-Bhubaneswar and IIT-Bhubaneswar, ICAR-ICFMD, and Centurion University. The Bhubaneswar campus is well-connected with the Biju Patnaik International Airport, [BBI] Bhubaneswar Airport (24 Km) and the NH-16 Bhubaneswar (18 Km).

Visiting Areas of Attraction

Not more than 5 km away from the university campus, Barunei Hill is the most eye-catching scenic hill station, and a picnic spot of Odisha. As per the History and legends of Barunei Hill, there are various important spots inside the Hill. Other famous places of attraction in Bhubaneswar are Khandagiri caves (24 Km), Dhauli Giri Shanti Stupa (27 Km), Lord Lingaraj Temple (18 Km), pilgrimage city of Puri (54 Km), and Black Pagoda or Konark Sun Temple (59 Km) from Jatni.


Bhubaneswar is known for “City of Temples”, and the capital of Odisha state. The city carries around 700 temples on its land. Most of these temples have been built to pay tribute to the mighty “Lord Shiva”, one of the Hindu culture's most powerful mythological gods.


The name of the city is also derived from Lord Shiva’s other name Tri-Bhubaneswar which means “God of three worlds”. The temples in Bhubaneswar feature breathtaking architectural styles like Ancient Kalinga and Eula, which prevailed between the 8th and 12th centuries. These temples boast incredible embodiments and décor, which renders a majestic touch to the composition, and these iconic traits have been used over the centuries.


The organisers can arrange the visit if requests are made in advance and hence, keep one day extra in hand on 27nth Nov. for the heritage site visit.
